Parents
The Teen Years… Driving, dating, drinking, social media, sexuality, peer pressure….As a parent you may be wondering:
- Does anybody understand what I’m going through?
- Am I doing all I can to prepare my child for life after graduation?
- How do I learn to let go?
- Have I given my child a solid foundation for faith development?
We have staff focused specifically in the area of parenting adolescents who would love to come alongside you during this season of life.
Send us an e-mail at lsnyder@youthfront.com and let us hear from you. We’re available for resourcing, speaking engagements ,youth ministry assistance, or just to lend a listening ear. We'd love to serve you and/or point you in the right direction for the best assistance.
While we recognize that raising teens is a difficult and often lonely job we’re also here to offer hope. That’s what the Youthfront Parent Network is all about…helping families successfully navigate the journey of adolescence.
The second annual Engage event will be held in Kansas City on March 25th, 2010 with keynote speaker, Marv Penner. Marv is a seasoned youth worker, a licensed marriage and family counselor who specializes in parent/adolescent conflict resolution, sexual abuse recovery, eating disorders and marriage and family issues. That night, Marv will be joining us to share practical ways to make parenting a positive experience for both you the parent, and your children.
Please join us, and others from around the city as we strive together to parent successfully through the adolescent years. You may register for Engage by clicking here.
