Serve Day
The 11th annual Serve Day is upcoming on Saturday, April 24th. Serve Day provides students a chance to embody the great Good News of Jesus Christ by serving in two local neighborhoods in Kansas City -- Ivanhoe in KCMO and Argentine in KCKS. Young people will have a chance to participate in neighborhood development in one of the two locations, and also engage in tangibly meeting the world's need for food by packaging meals as part of Youthfront's Feed the Hunger Initiative.
Groups will gather at Youthfront Headquarters (4715 Rainbow Blvd, Shawnee Mission, KS 66205) at 9AM for a short worship service and then go from there to their respective neighborhoods at 10AM. The day should last until approximately 4PM. To cover the cost of packaged meals there will be a $10 per student charge, payable the day of the event at your group check-in.
